Homecoming is Here!

Updated: Sep 26, 2018

It's here! It's here! We've been working and planning; praying and seeking; and now, it has arrived!

This Sunday begins our Spiritual Growth Campaign, Homecoming.

We are asking for your 100% participation in four areas:

1. 100% participation in Passionate Adoration. Do not miss a Sunday!

2. 100% participation in Practical Learning. Make sure you are in an eGroup!

3. 100% participation in Perpetual Prayer. Seek the Lord that He will save people you know!

4. 100% participation in Persistent Witnessing. Invite at least one person a week!

During this time, we are diving deep into the anchor for our hope, Jesus, and his promise of eternity for us. What are you hoping for? What is your great hope in life? For most when they hear that question, it's something that we're not sure is going to happen. We hope our children grow into good adults. We hope God grows our family financially. We hope the Cardinals make the playoffs!

That is not what hope is! Hope is the sure expectation of things to come. In Romans 8, the Bible says "23we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience"

That's a sure thing! Those who are in Christ will be completely redeemed in eternity!

What are you hoping for? What are you eagerly expecting from God? What God is going to do gets me so excited! I can't help but shout it from the rooftops and share it with people!

Let God stir your heart. Let him anchor your soul.

Hebrews 6

19 We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain, 20 where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.

Let's shout it from the rooftop! We have hope!
